The FAS Construction In Progress Accounting (Sage FAS 100 CIP Accounting) program has been updated to include a variety of new features and enhancements, designed to make the management of our construction in progress product easier than ever. Some of the highlights of FAS Construction In Progress Accounting version 2.0 include the following:

• Project Snapshot - quickly provides summary information at a glance, every time you open a project.
• Copy Project Setup - copy an existing project's setup information when you create a new project.
• Security - important as a compliance tool, the product now allows you to limit the projects and program functions that each user can access
• Import Helper for Importing Transactions - friendly, step-by-step wizard screens guide you through the process of importing transactions into one or multiple projects in FAS Construction In Progress Accounting.
• Pending Transactions - Now you can create or import a transaction without having to specifiy its Line Item ID number.
• Moving and Copying Line Items - Easily move and copy line items from one project to another, saving valuable time.
• Moving and Copying Transactions - Quickly move and copy transactions from one line item to another.
• Splitting Transactions - split a transaction into two or more seperate transactions -- perfect for single invoices with mulitple expenses.
• Improved Integration - send even more data from FAS Construction In Progress Accounting to your FAS fixed asset management program upon asset creation.
• Importing an Asset Template List - import a list of asset templates from a FAS company or organization, eliminating extra data entry.
• Create Assets with an Unequal Distribution of Value - now when creating multiple assets from a single line item, you can either distribute the value evenly or specifically assign different values to each asset.
• Selecting a Default FAS Company - save as a preference the FAS compnay or organization in which assets will be created when the project is complete, useful especially when you work primarily with one business unti.

NOTE: FAS Construction In Progress Accounting, version 2.0 is compatible with FAS Asset Accounting, FAS Asset Accounting for SQL Server, and FAS FirstStep, versions 2005.1 and higher. It is also compatible with FAS Gov Asset Accounting and FAS Nonprofit Asset Accounting, including SQL Server editions, versions 2005.1 (upon release) and higher.
