Sage FAS General Ledger Accounting Links

When it comes to depreciating fixed assets, over 100,000 users can attest to the fact that Sage FAS provides the most complete solution on the market. Once inventory, accounting, depreciation, and reporting have been completed, what more could one do with their fixed asset information? Sage FAS Links provide the ability to move data from the Sage FAS database into a wide variety of General Ledger and other accounting packages, and thus help you promote Sage FAS as part of a total solution to your customers.

Posting information to a G/L system is an important part of a fixed-asset manager's job. The development team at Sage Software has created a number of links that make this task simplified and efficient. From Peachtree by Sage to Sage MAS 500, all of the Sage Software G/L's have the ability work seamlessly with Sage FAS, and links to all Sage Software products are available at no charge to your customers. Supported packages include:

  • Peachtree by Sage
  • Sage MAS 90*
  • Sage MAS 200*
  • Sage MAS 200 for SQL Server**
  • Sage MAS 500 (includes an AP/PO link that automatically creates assets in Sage FAS, eliminating double data entry)
  • Sage PFW**
  • Sage BusinessWorks**
  • Sage Timberline Office: General Ledger
  • Sage Timberline Office: Equipment Cost
  • Sage Accpac -- AP/PO and GL links are available

* Links to Sage MAS 90 and Sage MAS 200 are included within the Sage MAS application.

Specific links to a number of third-party accounting packages have been created, including Great Plains and Solomon. Demonstrating the data transfer capability of Sage FAS is an important way to promote the product line as the premier fixed asset management solution: Sage FAS focuses on fixed assets, yet operates as part of any accounting system.

Beyond the explicit connections, the Sage FAS Universal Link can easily be use to post depreciation calculations to any accounting or GL system. Need even more integration? The Sage FAS Professional Services team is ready to assist you in selling a total solution to your clients by creating custom integrations. Contact your Sage FAS business partner representative today and ask for a copy of the "Software Integration Tools" electronic brochure, which outlines the links that are available in Sage FAS.
